A reservation lets you configure and be among the first to order a new F-150 Lightning from Ford with a refundable Reservation Deposit. It is not an actual order and does not guarantee delivery.
Ford is proud to communicate the revolutionary all-new, all-electric F-150 Lightning is getting one step closer to launch. In order to prepare for the upcoming order bank opening, Ford has closed the reservation system as of December 8th, and will reopen in January 2022. Due to extraordinarily high demand, not all reservation holders will receive an invitation to place an order for 22MY. For customers invited to submit a 22MY order who find that their desired configuration is unavailable, they can either elect to maintain their reservation for a subsequent model year, work with Mission Valley to modify their order for a different configuration or cancel their reservation for a full refund - again, at any time. (Note: Future model year pricing will be provided when available)
A Ford Account lets you sign in to the Ford website to save and manage your personal and reservation information. You need to create a Ford Account to reserve your P702 BEV. Reservations can also be tracked in your Ford Account at owner.ford.com/. *

Yes, reservation fees are refunded with reservation cancellation. Allow seven to 10 business days for the reservation deposit to be credited to your original form of payment.

Yes. You can cancel your reservation at any time and receive a full refund.* You can do this in your account at ford.com. If for some reason you can’t process the cancellation online, you can contact a Ford Customer Experience Representative at 800-392-3673 (Ford U.S.). After canceling, allow seven to 10 business days for the reservation deposit to be credited to your original form of payment. Once you progress from a reservation to an order with a dealer, however, cancellation requests would be at that dealer’s discretion.
“Prior to the order bank opening, all reservation holders will receive an email confirming their reservation. Ford will begin inviting reservation holders to place orders in waves starting at order bank open in January 2022. Subsequent waves will receive an invitation in approximate two-week intervals until 22MY production capacity is fulfilled.
An order sends your vehicle configuration to Mission Valley Ford who will then process your order request. By submitting an order and completing the order process, you are not purchasing a vehicle. Ordering does not guarantee you vehicle delivery. Your order does not guarantee a set-price for the vehicle.

No. The purchase agreement will be between you and Mission Valley Ford, not you and Ford.
F-150 Lightning production begins in Spring 2022. Once 22MY production capacity is met, all remaining reservation holders will be notified that their next ordering opportunity will be for a subsequent model year. Again, they will be given the option to hold their reservation or cancel for a full refund at anytime.
